The Women’s Group had a great eco-friendly idea, the desire, and the ability but they had no markets other than the occasional sale to Service Learning Project volunteers, not a viable basis for a business. The Ripon College Students in Free Enterprise, under the leadership of Mary Avery, started working with the Women’s Group in September 2008. Katerina Youngberg and Robyn Peterson, both students of Ripon College, together with Mary and Tom Avery, traveled to Hagley Gap and Penlyne Castle in January to take their collaboration to the next level.Read more

Our Finances
The Blue Mountain Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Like most nonprofit nongovernmental organizations we do a tremendous amount of work on a shoe-string budget. The following is a three-year average of our income and expense.
