In our latest issue, Helena Edmonds, our new Ambassador, tells you about her first days on the job. Helena Edmonds arrived in Jamaica on 16 January to begin her duties as our generalist Ambassador. Over the coming year she will help our Service Learning Volunteers, work with the Women’s Group and other economic development projects and act as our liaison with the Community Water Committee. She reports on her first days on the job. January issue . This year’s Fun Camp and Back2School will run from 11-26 August. It is a little later than usual because Jamaica will celebrate 50 years of independence on August 6. It will be quite a celebration and we do not want to interfere with these festivities. Please contact me if you are interested in holding a Fun Camp supply drive event or you would like to volunteer. I have flyers and other information for you.
