Opportunities to support the Blue Mountain Project and the communities in Jamaica where we live and work:
The Service Learning Program provides short-term volunteers the opportunity to live, work, and experience life in a rural Jamaican village all while assisting in one of our core areas of programming: health, education, income generating programs or providing access to clean water.
The Ambassador Program is a long-term volunteer program where highly qualified individuals take leadership within one of our core areas of programming: health, education, income generating programs or access to clean water.
BMP programs in our core areas of work are guided by our Committees on Health, Education, Income-Generation, and Access to Clean Water. Additionally, to support our long-term funding needs the BMP Committee on Financial Development leads our strategic fundraising and development goals. Members of our Committees include experts in their fields of study and work, former and current Ambassadors and exceptional former service learning volunteers. If you have a specialization in one of our core areas of programming and would like to share your expertise with the Blue Mountain Project we would love to speak with you.
Are you a college or graduate student interested in gaining professional experience in the nonprofit sector? We need your help! The BMP is looking for interns to assist our Service Learning Coordinator with volunteer recruitment and graphic design work and our Executive Director is looking for an executive intern. If you are interested in working with us click above on "Become an Intern" to email our team.
