Community Ambassador Program

Our Community Ambassador Program (CAP) provides long-term volunteer opportunities for individuals to contribute to the sustainability of our health or educational focus areas.  Qualified volunteers take leadership and help to develop local capacity to sustain our efforts.  For example, an education volunteer could work on net-working the computer lab and then teach a small group of locals how to manage it after the CAP departs.
In exchange for a 12-month commitment to service, volunteers are provided modest housing and a small monthly stipend for food.  After three months of successful service, CAPs are also eligible for up to $500 in airfare reimbursement for their CAP flight to/from Jamaica.
